Location Data

With your explicit browser permission, we access your device's GPS coordinates solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your location. This data is sent to our prayer times API and is never stored, logged, or shared with third parties beyond the calculation request. If you deny location access, we fall back to IP-based or timezone-based approximation — no persistent location data is retained.

Usage Data

We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or session recording tools. We do not create user accounts or store personal profiles.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. Basic browser storage (localStorage) may be used to remember your in-session preferences such as selected language or translator — this data never leaves your device.

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following external APIs to deliver content:

• UmmahAPI — Quran, Hadith, Duas, prayer times, and Hijri date data.
• ipapi.co — Optional IP-based location fallback for prayer times when GPS is unavailable.
• api.tashkeel.lk — Journal and news content hosted by Tashkeel.

These services are accessed server-side where possible to minimise data exposure. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details on their data practices.

4. Children's Privacy

Our platform is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13.
