Yes. All content on Tashkeel — the Quran reader, hadith browser, prayer times, duas, and bayans — is completely free to access with no registration required.

The Quran is available with Tamil, English, and Sinhala translations. Hadith collections include Arabic text and English translations. The interface is in English with Arabic script for Quranic and hadith text.

Prayer times are calculated based on your location using GPS (if permitted), IP address, or timezone detection. For Sri Lanka, the ACJU (All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama) calculation method is used by default. European locations default to UIOF, North American locations to ISNA, and so on. You can override the method manually.

We offer four Tamil translations (Islamic Foundation Trust, Bayanul Quran, Muhiyadeen, and a general translation), three English translations (Saheeh International, Pickthall, and Yusuf Ali), and a Sinhala translation. The original Arabic with transliteration is always displayed alongside.

Tashkeel includes all six major hadith collections: Sahih al-Bukhari (7,580 hadiths), Sahih Muslim (7,360), Sunan an-Nasai (5,679), Sunan Abu Dawud (5,272), Sunan Ibn Majah (4,340), Jami at-Tirmidhi (3,926), and Muwatta Malik (1,829) — totalling over 35,000 hadiths.

Yes! Tashkeel is available on Android (Google Play), iOS (App Store), and as an Amazon Alexa skill. The website is also fully responsive and installable as a Progressive Web App on any device.

Visit the Bayans section to browse sermons by speaker or masjid. Click any bayan to stream it directly — the inline audio player at the bottom of the screen lets you continue listening while browsing other content.

Yes. Individual bayans, journal articles, and surah pages can be shared directly via the share buttons on each page. You are welcome to share links to any content on Tashkeel.
